Proof the Croissants
Place the croissants on a parchment-lined tray.
Let them proof in the oven (turned off) at room temperature for 8 hours.
Prepare the Egg Wash
Ingredients:
1 whole egg (room temperature)
1 tablespoon water (room temperature)
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together until smooth and lump-free.
Brush the tops of the croissants with the egg wash.
Preheat the Oven
Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the Croissants
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown.
