Easy-to-Follow Croissant Baking Directions

  1. Proof the Croissants

    • Place the croissants on a parchment-lined tray.

    • Let them proof in the oven (turned off) at room temperature for 8 hours.

  2. Prepare the Egg Wash

    • Ingredients:

      • 1 whole egg (room temperature)

      • 1 tablespoon water (room temperature)

    • Instructions:

      • In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together until smooth and lump-free.

    • Brush the tops of the croissants with the egg wash.

  3. Preheat the Oven

    • Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  4. Bake the Croissants

    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown.
